Jesus is my everything -- I am honestly a hot mess without him. The cross is my reminder and his grace is forever etched upon my heart. 

 

I was born in Denver, Colorado… the Rocky Mountains will forever hold a special place in my heart. If you’ve never been, do yourself a favor- it’s simply breathtaking.  I have lived in too many states to count... I lost count somewhere along the way. Let's just say I went to 5 different elementary schools in 1st grade alone.  No, I wasn’t a military kid. I was an equestrian/horse trainer kid.  And I have never once ridden a horse… it’s on the bucket list though!

 

I graduated from the University of Valley Forge in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry.  I have a huge heart for young people. 

 

In 2005, I met my husband on a blind date. We were married exactly 12 months later. (When you know, you know!!) We have 4 of the sweetest little bundles of joy you will ever meet.  They make my life sweeter, my days brighter and my heart warmer.  In 2014, I quit my 11 year career as a mortgage loan officer and became a home school teacher.  There are moments that are hard... real hard. But I have never once regretted the decision.

We enjoy traveling as a family.  It's our goal to do something memorable in all 50 states with our girls before they graduate from high school. Most evenings you will find us curled up on the couch together watching our favorite movies and tv shows while indulging in a huge bowl of popcorn- the buttery, the better.

A few other favorite things: singing, reading, tea (not a coffee drinker!) trying new recipes, DIY projects, firepits with family and friends, laughing until I cry, watching my husband play soccer, unsolicited love notes from my daughters, and oreos.
